I am so behind on my blogging, but I had to stop for two minutes to wish my daughter a Happy 6th Birthday! On December 14th, 6 years ago, God blessed my husband and I with the most beautiful blue eyed baby girl! We love you so much Victoria, and we are so proud of you!! This is one of my favorite pictures of her, she was about 8 months old. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Orleans Square – A Savannah Wedding Sneak Peek
Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful wedding in Orleans Square. The weather was perfect for the afternoon ceremony where Jack & Cindy were married surrounded by family and friends. After the ceremony, the guests met the Bride & Groom at The Hilton for drinks and hors d’oeuvres on the pool deck followed by dinner and dancing in the ballroom. Congratulations Jack & Cindy!!

Chad & Misty
I was so excited to meet Chad & Misty when they asked me to photograph their wedding! Chad & Misty grew up together, but they usually only saw each other at church. A few years ago, a mutual friend decided to play matchmaker with Chad & Misty and they have been together ever since! Chad proposed Thanksgiving weekend 2009 in Charleston while they were sitting on a pier swinging. They are such an adorable couple and their wedding was beautiful! Here are a few pictures from their wedding:

Elegance in the Park
This past Sunday was the 2nd Annual Elegance in the Park at the Richmond Hill City Center. I was super excited about going; I had such a great time last year. And once again, I was not disappointed. The entire ballroom was set up with tables for all of the vendors. There was a beautiful set up of food and drinks out on the Veranda. Outside on the lawn was a display of chairs, a Pergola draped with tulle and lanterns. Ballroom dancers entertained the crowd, and the show ended with a fashion show of beautiful wedding gowns. If you missed this event, you will definitely have to go next year! I had so much fun meeting everyone, I am already looking forward to next year! What an amazing job, RH City Center!!

Part 2 of My Little Sister Is Married – A Jekyll Island Adventure
When my sister picked out her wedding dress, I was so excited and couldn’t wait to do her Bridal Portraits. Her dress was so beautiful!! For Kimberly’s Bridal Portraits, she knew she wanted to go to the beach. In March, we decided to go down to Jekyll Island because we knew we could get a lot of great shots there. We stopped at several locations while on the island; our last stop was the beach. It didn’t take long for the sand gnats to show up. Kimberly really wanted a few bridals on the beach, so she put on a great smile and just ignored those little biting gnats. Here are a few of my favorites:

A walk in Forsyth Park
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful family visiting Savannah. I met them at The Mansion on Forsyth that morning and we walked through Forsyth Park, one of my favorite places to go downtown. I had a great time getting to know Mr. Walz and his family. I think the pictures turned out great! Mr. & Mrs. Walz, I hope that you and your family enjoyed your stay in Savannah! Here are a few of my favorites from our session!
